Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio’s coaching team, delivers high-quality classes, supports studio success, and fosters coach development while upholding [solidcore]'s brand and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 13 classes per week as the studio’s lead coach
- Set expectations and serve as an example for new and existing coaches
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences
- Meet company utilization and retention targets individually and studio-wide
- Assist Area Manager with day-to-day operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and supporting coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations including class packages and apparel
- Perform operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift/carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- Optimism and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve fitness goals
- Ability to build relationships and develop teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Outgoing, personable, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
- Comfortable leading classes with a microphone and loud music
- Strong client relations and communication skills
- Reliable and professional
- Ability to model and represent the [solidcore] brand and culture
