Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads the studio’s coaching team by delivering high-quality classes, supporting coach development, and assisting with studio operations to ensure excellent client experiences and studio success.
Key Responsibilities
- Coach an average of 10 classes per week
- Set expectations and serve as a role model for new and existing coaches
- Deliver best-in-class fitness and customer service experiences
- Meet individual and studio utilization and retention goals
- Assist Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing efforts to attract new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and in-person support during new coach trainings
- Respond to client requests and resolve concerns promptly
- Maintain knowledge of studio retail operations including class packages and promotions
- Execute operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
- Perform other assigned duties and projects
Requirements
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift and carry at least 30 pounds
- Proficiency in G-Suite and MS Office, especially Excel and Google Sheets
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Passion for health, fitness, and helping others achieve goals
- Strong relationship-building and team development skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused environment
- Outgoing and personable with good communication skills
- Comfortable leading classes with loud music and high energy
- Reliable, professional, and a positive team player
