Events & Community Marketing Manager - Job Summary
Lead and manage events execution and strategy to generate leads, engage audiences, and position the company and executives as industry experts in a fully remote environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Streamline event operations and workflows to improve execution speed
- Generate new leads and engage existing opportunities and customers
- Maximize ROI from events by engaging audiences before, during, and after events
- Use events and community content to position executives and the company as industry leaders
- Facilitate networking and community building among target accounts and roles
- Provide educational opportunities to build brand and solution awareness
- Strengthen partner relationships through co-hosted events and activities
- Manage project details including event checklists, timelines, and cross-functional meetings
- Negotiate and manage vendors and venues including contracts and schedules
- Execute targeted marketing campaigns and manage automation workflows for events
- Coordinate and brief event staff, managing their roles and issues
- Organize and deliver collected leads to Sales for follow-up
- Compile and present post-event reports analyzing KPIs and lessons learned
- Create logistics and documentation including event schedules, materials, and collateral
Requirements
- 5+ years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in events
- Experience coordinating logistics and promotions for various event types
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Asana, 6sense, and Figma
- Creative approach to event engagement, booth design, and vendor selection
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- Strategic thinking for integrating events into overall demand generation and brand strategies
- Skill in managing event budgets, expenses, and vendor negotiations
- Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure during event planning and execution
- Genuine empathy and prioritization of community, attendee, and stakeholder needs
- Ability to foster a sense of belonging and loyalty online and in-person
- Creative conceptualization of unique event themes and community programs
- Curiosity and motivation to solve difficult problems
- Bonus: familiarity with healthcare, health tech, and B2B marketing
