Community Engagement Officer - Job Summary
The Community Engagement Officer will raise awareness of Carefound Home Care in local communities, build relationships with partner organizations, and support client growth and staff recruitment through networking and marketing activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop relationships in the local community and maintain a pipeline of opportunities through networking
- Network face to face, by phone, email, and video call with local groups, charities, healthcare professionals, and community organisations
- Deliver promotional activities both face to face and virtually to increase awareness of care services and job opportunities
- Build relationships with key referral providers, work to agreed targets, and regularly engage to drive client enquiries and job applications
- Plan and execute community marketing events including fairs, exhibitions, recruitment events
- Collaborate with central marketing team on social media planning and content updates
- Develop and maintain knowledge of the brand and promote central marketing campaigns locally
- Track and record communications in CRM to manage and adjust community engagement strategy
- Work flexibly with branch care management team to support delivery of outstanding care service
Requirements
- Proven success in building strong relationships face to face and virtually within local communities
- Previous experience in home care or regulated service environment desirable
- Confidence in networking via multiple channels including presentations on aging topics such as dementia
- Good understanding of marketing principles and experience with marketing and communication approaches including digital media
- Proficiency in Microsoft, CRM, and other marketing software; ability to learn new technologies
- Excellent communication, planning, and organisational skills
- Warm, patient, compassionate, emotionally resilient, and calm under pressure
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of care and support
- Valid driving licence and own car
