Head Coach - Job Summary
The Head Coach leads a studio’s coaching team by delivering exceptional fitness classes, supporting new coach training, and assisting with studio operations to ensure company success and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the studio’s lead coach, coaching 11 classes per week
- Set expectations and role model qualities for new and existing coaches
- Deliver a best-in-class fitness and customer service experience
- Meet company utilization and retention goals individually and for the studio
- Assist Area Manager with day-to-day studio operations
- Lead outreach and marketing to attract new clients and build community partnerships
- Provide coach development including feedback and support during new coach trainings
- Respond promptly to client requests and resolve concerns effectively
- Maintain product knowledge for retail operations including classes, promotions, and apparel
- Execute operational tasks such as ordering supplies, inventory management, and sales logs
- Ensure studio and equipment are clean and fully functional
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned
Requirements
- Availability for approximately 40 hours per week including weekends, holidays, and flexible scheduling
- Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 30 pounds
- Proficiency with G-Suite and MS Office (Excel, Google Sheets)
- 1-2 years prior group fitness experience
- Optimism, hard work, and passion for health, fitness, and the [solidcore] workout
- Passion for helping others achieve fitness goals and building team relationships
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, people-focused, entrepreneurial environment
- Outgoing, personable, team player with a positive attitude
- Comfortable leading fast-paced classes with loud music using a microphone
