Administration & Community Engagement Assistant - Job Summary
Support administration, park reservations, marketing, and community engagement activities, balancing multiple tasks with a focus on design and outreach.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate Confluence Park reservations and support related programs, events, and projects.
- Develop and implement strategies to increase reservations and revenue.
- Create orientation materials for internal keyholders of park spaces.
- Coordinate annual deep cleaning and maintenance of park facilities.
- Document operating procedures for park opening, closing, and cleaning.
- Support office and storage organization for efficient workspaces.
- Coordinate with security officers and implement photo permits for park events.
- Build and maintain relationships with public and partner organizations.
- Maintain programmatic and reservation calendars and update website content.
- Communicate with reservation contacts, event organizers, and partners.
- Lead walkthroughs and tours related to park reservations and programs.
- Provide operational support for SARF programs and events.
- Answer phones, manage communications, and maintain digital filing systems.
- Manage CRM and assist with donor communications and event mailings.
- Maintain calendars, add constituents from outreach events, and assist executive staff.
- Schedule and support Board and Committee meetings including logistics and recordings.
- Help plan staff and board events.
- Support marketing efforts including social media advertising, content creation, newsletters, and website updates.
- Create and edit video content and identify marketing content needs.
Requirements
- Self-starter comfortable working independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving skills and creativity.
- Experience with Canva required; familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Willingness to learn Notion, Adobe Suite, and video editing is a plus.
- Comfortable engaging with the public at outreach events.
- Organized, responsive, and enthusiastic about art, ecology, education, and recreation.
Education
Undergraduate degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent combination of education, training, and 3 years of relevant experience.
