Social Media Manager - Job Summary

Manage social media and community engagement for Jonathan Adler’s brand, executing content strategy and social storytelling across multiple platforms while collaborating with creative and marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage daily publishing across social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
  • Maintain social content calendars and coordinate timely execution of campaigns, launches, events, and initiatives
  • Collaborate with Brand Creative and Marketing teams to develop on-brand social content
  • Write, edit, and publish engaging and platform-appropriate social copy
  • Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries
  • Monitor social conversations to identify engagement and partnership opportunities
  • Support content creation through briefing, shoot coordination, and asset management
  • Track and report on channel performance and audience engagement with actionable insights
  • Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and best practices
  • Maintain organized archives of social content, assets, and reporting

Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of social media management experience for a brand, publisher, or lifestyle company
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
  • Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and best practices
  • Experience managing content calendars and multi-channel publishing strategies
  • Proven ability to build and engage online communities
  • Highly organized with strong project management skills
  • Comfortable collaborating with creative teams and adhering to brand guidelines
  • Strong analytical skills and familiarity with social media reporting metrics
  • Knowledge of design, interiors, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands
  • Basic comfort with and willingness to learn AI tools and workflows
