Social Media Manager - Job Summary
Manage social media and community engagement for Jonathan Adler’s brand, executing content strategy and social storytelling across multiple platforms while collaborating with creative and marketing teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily publishing across social media channels including Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms
- Maintain social content calendars and coordinate timely execution of campaigns, launches, events, and initiatives
- Collaborate with Brand Creative and Marketing teams to develop on-brand social content
- Write, edit, and publish engaging and platform-appropriate social copy
- Manage community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and inquiries
- Monitor social conversations to identify engagement and partnership opportunities
- Support content creation through briefing, shoot coordination, and asset management
- Track and report on channel performance and audience engagement with actionable insights
- Stay updated on platform changes, trends, and best practices
- Maintain organized archives of social content, assets, and reporting
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of social media management experience for a brand, publisher, or lifestyle company
- Excellent written communication and copywriting skills
- Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Facebook, LinkedIn, and best practices
- Experience managing content calendars and multi-channel publishing strategies
- Proven ability to build and engage online communities
- Highly organized with strong project management skills
- Comfortable collaborating with creative teams and adhering to brand guidelines
- Strong analytical skills and familiarity with social media reporting metrics
- Knowledge of design, interiors, luxury, fashion, or lifestyle brands
- Basic comfort with and willingness to learn AI tools and workflows
