Community Manager - Job Summary
The Community Manager is responsible for building and animating DataOne's digital presence and professional community in their region, managing social media channels and supporting commercial and employer branding objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and execute the regional social media strategy, primarily on LinkedIn and also on X and Instagram as relevant.
- Build and maintain the editorial calendar including thought leadership, site milestones, event coverage, employer branding, and recruitment campaigns.
- Produce and adapt content such as posts, visuals, and short videos in line with DataOne brand guidelines.
- Coordinate with HQ communications to localize global campaigns for the regional market.
- Monitor, moderate, and respond to comments, mentions, and direct messages within defined SLAs.
- Grow and animate professional communities including industry groups, partner ecosystems, and alumni/talent communities.
- Support online amplification of trade shows, conferences, and DataOne events in the region.
- Track and report monthly KPIs including reach, engagement, follower growth, share of voice, and campaign conversion.
- Conduct social listening and competitive benchmarking and escalate reputational risks as per crisis communication procedures.
- Ensure compliance with local media regulations, client confidentiality, and site security constraints.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in community management or digital communications, ideally in B2B technology, infrastructure, or real estate.
- Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field.
- Solid understanding of the regional business and media landscape.
- Native-level English copywriting; French is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling/analytics tools like Hootsuite or Sprout.
- Basic design and video skills with tools such as Canva, Adobe Express, or CapCut; ability to brief agencies for larger productions.
- Data-driven mindset comfortable with building KPI dashboards and using analytics for editorial decisions.
- Autonomous, organized, strong editorial judgment and discretion.
- Collaborative, responsive, and comfortable working in a fast-moving, multicultural environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, or a related field
